Letter: Car, aircraft neck and neck in noise race

Jul 05, 2017

Two entities compete for louder sound: aircraft and car.

Noble aircraft is trying to reduce noise and vile car – driven by immature teens – is trying to emit decibels. Who will win?

When in the darkness of night roars a motor without a muffler, somebody feels good. It’s the same thing when a stereo system passes your window close to the street. And this is free.

Ten years ago, nobody heard such a battle cry. And now? Any time, day or night.
