Letter: Kneller invites community to end-of-summer BBQ

Aug 23, 2017

Over the next two months, we will be tasked with deciding which candidates for city council, and even mayor, will best represent the interests of all Mukilteans. I’m running because I believe that I’m one of those candidates.

I want to start by thanking everyone who voted for me in the primary; without your support, I wouldn’t be able to continue this campaign. From the start, my campaign has been about listening to, learning from, and engaging with the community, and that’s what I’ve really enjoyed doing.

I’ve had so many conversations with voters from all parts of the city, and I have thoroughly enjoyed discussing your concerns and thinking about what the city can do better to address them; but I know there’s still work left to do.

I look forward to having conversations with even more voters ahead of this November’s general election, and I look forward to continuously giving our community someone they can be excited to vote for, not against. I made that pledge to our community in a letter to the editor in the June 1 issue of the Mukilteo Beacon.

Summer is winding down, and campaigns will be ramping up, but before that all takes off I would like to invite you to an end of summer BBQ hosted by the Kneller for Council Campaign – from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, at the Lighthouse Park Picnic Shelter. Bring the family and enjoy the rest of your summer.

Sarah Kneller
Candidate, Mukilteo City Council Position 3
