Letter: Speak up against new health law

May 10, 2017

The great health care debate continues with the House passing a new health care bill last week.

This bill was and is opposed by a group of hospitals, doctors, insurers and consumer groups, as reported by the New York Times. Fortunately, it isn’t law yet, until it is passed by the Senate and signed by the President.

According to a recent study by the Congressional Management Foundation, constituent voices are the most powerful key to our elected officials’ decision making.

So, speak up and weigh in. Health care for millions of Americans would be lost if this bill becomes law.
