Mariner falls 9-4 to Shorecrest | Prep baseball

The Mariner baseball team lost a non-league game to Shorecrest on Thursday, March 20.

The final score was 9-4 for the Scots.

The Scots led 4-0 after the first inning, and added three more runs in the top of the fourth, before Mariner scored once in the bottom of the fifth and two runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Shorecrest scored nine runs off 10 hits and had three errors, while Mariner posted four runs off five hits and four errors.

The Marauders, now 1-1 this season, will play Shorewood at Meridian Park at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 21.
