More than 4,000 attend Paine Field Aviation Day | Letter

Jun 04, 2014

Editor, The Beacon:

What a great kickoff to the summer flying season! We had over 4,000 people come out for Paine Field Aviation Day. With all the activities going on, it was hard to take in everything.

The Paine Field Fire Department had a successful Pancake Breakfast benefiting the Oso community. The activities for kids were very popular, with everything from bouncy houses to airplanes. The Young Eagles flights were a hit with over 170 kids flying.

With the traditional aircraft displays, flying, robotics, and displays there was something for everyone. We hope you enjoyed your day.
