Mukilteo downs Tahoma, gets ninth lacrosse win

Mukilteo cruised to its ninth win of the season with an 8 - 6 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Tahoma, Tuesday at Tahoma High School in Covington.

The win helped Mukilteo hang on to a fourth place tie with Skyline in the Division I Northeast Conference.

Mukilteo grabbed the early lead, blanking Tahoma 4 - 0 in the first before matching Tahoma’s two goals in the second to take a 6 - 2 lead into the half. In the second half Tahoma mounted a come-back, scoring three in the third and blanking Mukilteo 1 - 0 in the fourth, but could never overcome its slow start.

Mukilteo (9-5-0) next faces Northshore (3-10-0)in its final game of the regular season, Friday, May 11 in an 8 p.m. start at Kamiak High School. Tahoma (7-10-0) next faces Lakeside (3-10-0), Saturday, May 122 in a 6 p.m. start at Tahoma High School.
