Mukilteo Historical Society meeting features Port of Everett commissioner

Glen Bachman, the commissioner of the Port of Everett will speak at Mukilteo Historical Society’s general meeting on Thursday, April 12 7 p.m.

The meeting will occur in the Rosehill Community Center’s Fowler Room, 304 Lincoln Ave.

Guests and visitors welcome.

Bachman is returning, by popular demand, to provide attendees an update on port activities from this past year.

His talks are both illuminating and entertaining due to his broad experience in our area, including five years as the port’s commissioner.

Bachman will speak about the Mount Baker Terminal as the new ferry terminal is developed.

Bachman's broad 30-plus years experience in the area in multiple roles (both in and out of government) gives a wide perspective as to the future prospects for the region.

In addition to his port duties, Bachman is also a member of the executive board of the Puget Sound Regional Council.
