Mukilteo resident earns scholarship from WWU

Western Washington University student Isaac Kenneth Heiman, son of Ron and Wendy Heiman of Mukilteo, received the $3,950 Dr. Ralph and Mrs. Eleanor Rinne Scholarship and the $1,000 Alumni Association Trunkey Leader Scholarship for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The Dr. Ralph and Mrs. Eleanor Rinne Scholarship is awarded to pre-med students who demonstrate exceptional academic credentials and strong motivation to become physicians. The Alumni Association Trunkey Leader Scholarship is awarded to students who are making a difference in their communities and contributing greatly to Western by actively participating in the life of the university.

Heiman graduated from Kamiak High School in 2018. He is undeclared, has a 4.0 GPA, and plans to graduate in 2022.
