Mukilteo Resident Earns Scholarships from WWU

Western Washington University student Nicholas Gerald Ness, son of Gerry Ness of Mukilteo and Jeannie Day of Maricopa, Arizona, received the $3,125 Woodring College of Education (WCE) Elementary Ed Scholarship for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The WCE Elementary Ed Scholarship is awarded to students wishing to pursue a degree in elementary education.

Ness graduated from Kamiak High School in 2010. He is currently involved in student teaching at Challenger Elementary and Picnic Point Elementary in Mukilteo. He is majoring in Special Education and Elementary Education and hopes to graduate in 2019.
