New Red Cross Board leadership in Snohomish County

The Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross announced three new board members into leadership roles for the fiscal year, July 1 – June 30, 2020 (FY20).

The three new members are Rob Muszkiewicz, Board Chair; Molly Ringo, First Vice Chair; and Gloria Hirashima, Second Vice Chair.

The trio represents more than a decade of experience serving the Red Cross in Snohomish County. Per a Red Cross news release, each has proven dedicated to the humanitarian mission of the American Red Cross, making significant contributions to the local chapter and region at large.

New Board Chair Muszkiewicz has been part of the Red Cross Board of Directors since 2016. He previously co-chaired the Board Development Committee and most recently chaired the 2018 Heroes Breakfast. Muszkiewicz is a Senior Manager at the Boeing Company and lives in Mukilteo.

Ringo is taking on the role of First Vice Chair, in addition to her current responsibility of Chair for the 2019 Heroes Breakfast. She also served as co-chair of the Board Development Committee in her time with the Red Cross, which startied in 2016. Ringo lives on Mercer Island and works as Vice President of Operations at the Everett School District.

Hirashima lives and works in Marysville as Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Marysville. Among our new officers, she has the longest tenure on the Board of Directors, joining in 2014. She previously Chaired the Community Engagement Committee and now takes on the role of Second Vice Chair for the Chapter Board.

“We are fortunate to have Rob in this role. He is the right person at the right time to lead our Board of Directors,” said Kelli Thode, executive director of the Snohomish County Chapter. “Molly and Gloria will complete our leadership team in meaningful ways, as they bring their passion and unique talents to delivering the mission of the American Red Cross,” said Thode. “I’m excited to see what the new year and this team brings.”
