The reporting party received a fraudulent cashiers check and the sender has been making contact trying to convince the reporting party to deposit the check, withdraw cash and send it to an address (which was also a fraudulent address). The reporting party did not fall for the scam.

An officer responded for a report of a subject playing loud music. The subject was contacted and he agreed to turn the music down. 5000 block of Brighton Place.
