Dec. 24

 

Operation: dog rescue

The reporting party advised of three dogs locked in a vehicle at the location.  The officer observed three dogs in the vehicle.  They appeared ok, windows were cracked and the dogs did not appear to be in distress. 10200 block of Harbour Place.

 

Mailbox entry

The caller reported suspicious activity. Officers discovered open mailboxes with no apparent damage. Near  75th Street Southwest and 46th Avenue West.

 

Hearing things

The caller reported loud music from their location. The officers did not locate any loud music. 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Helping hand

The caller advised of icy road conditions.  Public Works had been notified. 45th Place West and 88th Street Southwest.

Closed roadways

The reporting party advised of snow and ice on the roadway. The officers posted road closed signs closing traffic on 84th Street Southwest in both directions from Mukilteo Speedway to 44th Avenue West.

 

Domestic violence

The officers responded for a physical domestic dispute. A male was involved in a physical altercation with a family member. The male subject was arrested for assault and booked into the Snohomish County Jail. 9400 block of 48th Place West.

 

Dec. 25

 

Roadway opening

The officers re-opened 84th Street Southwest after it had been closed due to the snow.

 

Job search

The caller advised of receiving a suspicious e-mail regarding possible employment. He will follow up with his prospective employer. 12500 block of 52nd Place West.

 

Substance bust

Officers responded to investigate a suspicious male subject. He was found to be in possession of a possible suspected controlled substance.  The case is under investigation. 8500 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.

Blow out your candles

Officers responded to a report of a house fire. Upon arrival, it was determined that the residents had come home to discover a table smoldering inside the residence, possibly originating from a candle. 5000 block of 98th Street Southwest.

 

Dec. 26

 

Welfare check

The reporting party requested a welfare check of a male and a female.  The officer found the couple at the location with medical issues. The female was transported by aid to the hospital. 4800 block of Caymus Lane.

Strange power outage

The caller advised of hearing a loud noise then seeing an animal fall from a power line.  It was determined that a squirrel electrocuted itself while walking the power line and shorted the transformer before falling to the ground. It caused a local power outage. PUD was notified and they responded to restore power. 4700 block of 80th Street Southwest.

Aggressive nature

Officers responded for a male acting suspicious at the location. He was resisting and acting aggressive upon police contact. The subject was taken into custody and booked into the Snohomish County Jail. 12500 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.

 

Helping hand

The caller advised that he was inadvertently locked out of his residence at the location.  The officer was able to gain entry for the reporting party. 11100 block of Chennault Beach Road.

 

Dec. 27

 

Stalled out

The caller reported a vehicle illegally parked. The officer located the vehicle and the driver who stated the vehicle was disabled. The driver had already called for a tow truck and did not need assistance. Near 62nd Place West and Central Drive.

Hit and run

The caller advised of a hit and run collision that occurred the previous night. The case is under investigation. 8400 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.

 

Identity theft isn’t a joke, Jim

The caller advised that someone attempted to open a bank account in his name. The case is under investigation. 7800 block of 49th Place West.

 

Missing person

The reporting party advised of a runaway juvenile family member. The juvenile was entered in WACIC/NCIC as a runaway. 4800 block of Pointes Drive.

 

Dog bite

The caller advised that he was bitten by a dog. The reporting party stated the bite did not break the skin and the dog and dog owner was not located. A report was filed. 600 block of Washington Avenue.

Domestic dispute

Officers responded for a domestic dispute. Male and female family members were arguing about family issues. There was no assault and both parties were given resources. 11100 block of Chennault Beach Road.

Domestic violence

Officers responded for a physical domestic violence incident. A male subject assaulted a female. The male was arrested and booked into the snohomish County Jail.

 

Dec. 28

 

Warrant arrest

The officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver had outstanding warrants.  He was cited for driving with a suspended license and was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on the warrants. 1000 block of 5th Street.

 

Warrant arrest

The officers responded for a suspicious male subject. He was contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was booked at the Snohomish County Jail on the warrant. 10200 block of Harbour Place.

 

Kansas?

The reporting party advised that she was being harassed on social media by a subject in Kansas. The case is under investigation. 10500 block of 47th Place West.


Property theft

The caller advised that personal property was stolen from her vehicle. 1100 block of 2nd Street.


Courtesy shuttle

The caller advised of a subject needing assistance. The officer contacted a male who had missed his transfer to another bus. He was given a courtesy transport to another location.

 

Burglary

The caller advised that someone entered and stole personal property. 7700 block of Island View Court.


Dec. 29


Warrant arrest

While on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver had a warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and booked into the Lynnwood Jail on the warrant. 11400 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.


Property damage

The reporting party advised of damage to personal property. The case is under investigation. 13100 block of 45th Avenue West.

 

Oh deer

The officer responded for a report of a deer creating a traffic hazard. The deer was not located. Near Possession way and Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Windy day

The caller reported damage to personal property due to strong wind gusts. 700 block of Front Street.


Domestic argument

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. The officers contacted a male and a female who were arguing over relationship issues. The argument did not become physical. 5000 block of 84th Street Southwest.


Dec. 30


Domestic violence

The reporting party advised that a male subject assaulted her. The male was contacted and arrested for domestic violence assault. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail. 4900 block of 81st Place West.

 

Shut up

The caller reported loud music. The residents were contacted and they agreed to turn the music down. 9500 block of 49th Avenue West.

 

Find the dog

The caller reported his small tan dog missing. 6000 block of Chennault Beach Drive.
