Aug. 11

 

Suspicious package

A caller reported he found a package in the 5100 block of 81st Place Southwest. The package belonged to another residence, but no one was home at that location, so an officer left a business card at the location.

 

Off-leash dog

An officer responded to a report of an off-leash dog at 99th Street Southwest and 50th Place West. The officer cited the dog owner for the dog being at large.

 

Men with toddlers

A reporting party advised of subjects in the 1100 block of 3rd Street. Two male subjects were at the location with their toddler-aged children. There were no problems and they left the location.

 

Injured bird

An officer was dispatched to the 8400 block of Mukilteo Speedway for an injured bird blocking traffic. The bird was gone upon the officer’s arrival.

 

Utility scam

A caller in the 700 block of 2nd Street reported that she received a phone call from someone claiming to be from a utility company and claiming that she owed money. She did not fall for the scam.

 

Vehicle prowl

A caller reported that his vehicle was prowled in the 11800 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Out of gas

Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle parked at 84th Street Southwest and Paine Field Boulevard. The officers found that the driver was out of gas. Another subject was en route with gas.

 

Aug. 13

 

Assault arrest

A reporting party advised of being assaulted during an argument with a family member in the 11100 block of Chennault Beach Road. The family member was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

 

Lost driver

A reporting party advised of a suspicious vehicle in the 10400 block of 53rd Avenue West. An officer contacted the vehicle and determined the driver was lost. The officer provided directions to the driver’s destination.

 

Online sales

A reporting party in the 5600 block of 108th Place Southwest had questions regarding selling items on an online shopping site. An officer answered the reporting party’s questions.

 

Theft

A reporting party advised of a theft in the 11700 block of Mukilteo Speedway.

 

DUI arrest

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle collision in the 10200 block of Mukilteo Speedway. A driver was found to be under the influence, and was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

 

Aug. 14

 

Ferry traffic collision

Officers were dispatched to a collision at 5th Street and Mukilteo Speedway. The collision was in the ferry holding lanes, so Washington State Patrol responded and handled the investigation.

 

Vehicle prowl

A reporting party advised of a vehicle prowl in the 8000 block of 47th Place West.

 

Vehicle prowl

A caller advised of a vehicle prowl in the 4400 block of 133rd Street Southwest.

 

Coyote questions

A reporting party advised of coyotes in the 1600 block of Debrelon Lane. An officer answered her questions and gave her suggestions on deterrents.

 

Vehicle prowl

A reporting party advised her vehicle was prowled in the 12900 block of 49th Avenue West.

 

Aug. 15

 

Disabled vehicle

An officer responded to a report of a disabled vehicle blocking traffic at Mukilteo Speedway and 92nd Street Southwest. The officer stood by until a tow truck arrived.

 

Parking complaint

An officer responded to a parking complaint in the 4800 block of Pointes Drive. The officer marked the tires and posted a warning notice.

 

Abandoned vehicle

An officer checked on a previously marked abandoned vehicle that had been parked in the 12000 block of Possession Way. It had been impounded.

 

Traffic collision

Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision blocking traffic at Mukilteo Speedway and Russell Road. No one was injured.

 

Loud music

A reporting party advised of loud music in the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard. Upon arrival, an officer found that the issue was resolved and there was no longer a problem.

 

Aug. 16

 

Vehicle collision

While on patrol, an officer discovered a two-vehicle collision in the 12600 block of Mukilteo Speedway. No one was injured. The officer assisted the drivers in exchanging their information.

 

Locked out

A caller requested assistance after being locked out of her vehicle in the 4900 block of 131st Street Southwest. Officers were able to gain entry to her vehicle.

 

Theft

An officer responded to a report of a theft in the 4400 block of 75th Street Southwest. The case is under investigation.

 

Vehicle collision

Officers investigated a vehicle collision along Chennault Beach Road at Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Doggy disturbance

A park ranger encountered two male subjects engaged in a civil dispute involving their dogs at Lighthouse Park. Information was forwarded to the animal control officer for follow up.

 

Aug. 17

 

Fraud

A reporting party advised of unauthorized activity on her bank account in the 10900 block of West Villa Monte Drive. The case is under investigation.

 

Theft

A reporting party advised of a theft in the 9900 block of 48th Avenue West.

 

Dispute resolution

A reporting party advised of a dispute with a male subject in the 9200 block of 60th Avenue West. There was no assault and the officers mediated a temporary resolution to the dispute.

 

Vehicle collision

An officer was dispatched to a vehicle collision in the 10100 block of Marine View Drive. No one was injured.
