Aug. 18

 

Barking dog

An officer responded to a report of a barking dog in the 7600 block of 45th Place West. The officer located the dog and contacted the owner, who agreed to quite the dog.

 

Not my cable

A reporting party in the 5000 block of Dover Court advised that a cable television service account was opened in her name in Texas without her authorization.

 

Fake buyer

A caller in the 6700 block of Waterton Circle reported that he had advertised property for sale on the internet. He said he received a text message from someone who said they wanted to buy the property. They said that they would send him a check for more than the price and he could send the remainder back to them. The caller did not fall for the scam.

 

Arrest at Lighthouse Park

While on patrol, an officer contacted a male subject who was with a female in violation of a court order at Lighthouse Park. He was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

 

Vehicle prowl

An officer responded to a report of a vehicle prowl in the 13200 block of 46th Place West.

 

Aug. 19

 

Vehicle theft

A caller reported that his vehicle was stolen from a location in the 5600 block of 105th Place Southwest. The case is under investigation.

 

Traffic hazard

An officer was dispatched to a report of objects in the roadway at 53rd Avenue West and 81st Place Southwest.

 

Harasser blocked

A reporting party in the 5000 block of 84th Street Southwest advised of receiving unwanted phone calls and text messages. The reporting party blocked the numbers and there were no further problems.

 

Missing person found

Dispatch advised that the Washington State Patrol located a male subject who had been reported missing from the 10500 block of 47th Place West.

 

Aug. 20

 

Vehicle theft

A reporting party advised that his vehicle was stolen from the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Bus pass

A reporting party advised of a suspicious male subject in the 4600 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard. An officer located the male at the location, who needed assistance getting to another location. He was given a bus pass, and then he boarded the bus.

 

Vehicle prowl

A caller reported that her vehicle was prowled in the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Domestic violence

Officers responded to a physical domestic disturbance in the 8800 block of 52nd Place West. Upon arrival, it was determined that a male and a male family member were arguing about personal issues. During the argument, the male family member assaulted the male. He was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

 

Theft

A reporting party advised that a bicycle was stolen from a location in the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Aug. 21

 

Truck stuck

An officer responded to the 8400 block of Mukilteo Speedway for a truck that became high centered and stuck. A tow was called to remove the truck.

 

Loose rooster

An officer was dispatched to the 5200 block of 81st Place Southwest for a report of a rooster running loose. The officer was able to catch the rooster, which was transported to an animal shelter.

 

Lost mail found

A reporting party found lost mail at 88th Street Southwest and 53rd Avenue West. The mail was taken to the post office for re-delivery.

 

Vehicle prowl

A reporting party advised that her vehicle was prowled in the 5200 block of 84th Street Southwest.

 

Stolen bike found

A reporting party in the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard advised that a bike that was previously reported stolen had been located.

 

IRS scam

A caller in the 11800 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard reported that she received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS. She did not fall for the scam.

 

Aug. 22

 

Lost cat

A caller reported that his cat was lost from the 4600 block of 76th Street Southwest.

 

Name fraud

A caller in the 11800 block of 59th Avenue West reported that someone had been using his name to conduct financial transactions without his authorization. The caller did not suffer any financial loss.

 

Bail scam

A caller in the 5400 block of 101st Street Southwest reported receiving a call from a subject pretending to be a family member requesting money for bail. The caller did not fall for the scam.

 

Vehicle collision

An officer was dispatched to a two-vehicle collision in the 4300 block of Chennault Beach Road. No one was injured.

 

Hit and run

A reporting party advised of a hit-and-run vehicle collision in the 11400 block of Mukilteo Speedway. There were no injuries.

 

Loud noise

Officers were dispatched to a report of loud noise in the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard. The resident said he would keep the noise down. No further problems were reported.

 

Aug. 23

 

Noisy machines

A reporting party in the 1100 block of 3rd Street advised that a tree company was running loud equipment in the area. An officer attempted to call the reporting party to explain the noise ordinance, but was not able to make contact. No further problems were reported.

 

Unlocked vehicles

A reporting party advised that their vehicle had been prowled in the 7300 block of 48th Avenue West. An officer checked the area and found that other vehicles had also been entered. All prowled vehicles had been left unlocked.

 

Theft

A reporting party advised of a theft in the 2600 block of Mukilteo Speedway.

 

Parking hazard

An officer responded to a report of a traffic hazard at Prospect Avenue and 3rd Street. The officer found a vehicle parked within 9 feet of the centerline, so the officer issued a warning.

 

Theft

A reporting party advised of a theft in the 11000 block of 60th Avenue West. The case is under investigation.

 

Hazardous political signs

A reporting party was concerned that political signs in the 1100 block of Mukilteo Speedway were blocking the view of the roadway. An officer confirmed that they were a traffic hazard and moved them to a safer location.

 

Kid on a quad

A reporting party in the 4500 block of 75th Street Southwest advised a juvenile was riding a quad in the middle of the road and not wearing a helmet. The subject was not located.

 

Road rage fail

A reporting party in the 8100 block of Mukilteo Speedway advised another driver threw something at his car, but it did not hit the care. There were no other problems reported.

 

Locked in

An officer responded to the 10500 block of Harbour Point Boulevard for several subjects who had been accidently locked in. The officer was able to unlock the gate and let the subjects out.

 

Aug. 24

 

Vehicle Prowl

A reporting party advised that their unlocked vehicle was prowled in the 13100 block of 42nd Place West.

 

Vehicle collision

An officer was dispatched to a vehicle collision in the 11700 block of Mukilteo Speedway. No one was injured.

 

Missing car key

A reporting party in the 5800 block of 88th Street Southwest advised they were missing their car key. They did not want to file a report and only requested additional patrols.

 

Fraud

A reporting party in the 8600 block of 44th Avenue West advised checks were being used without their authorization. The bank already refunded the money and the subject needed a report at the request of the bank.

 

Aug. 25

 

Loitering on the corner

An officer was dispatched to the 12600 block of Mukilteo Speedway for a male loitering at the corner. The male agreed to stand somewhere else.

 

Student ID card

A reporting party in the 9400 block of 48th Avenue West advised he found a student identification card. The card was turned over to staff, who advised they would return it to the student.

 

Sick cat

A reporting party in the 5200 block of 86th Place Southwest requested a phone call in regard to a sick cat. The Animal Control Officer provided information and resources to the caller.

 

Vehicle collision

An officer investigated a two-vehicle collision in the 12800 block of 52nd Place West. No one was injured, and the collision was non-reportable.

DUI false alarm

An officer was dispatched to a report of a suspected DUI in the 10900 block of Mukilteo Speedway. The officer located the vehicle but found no evidence the driver was impaired.

 

DUI arrest

Officers were dispatched to a suspected DUI driver along Mukilteo Speedway at Harbour Pointe Boulevard Southwest. The driver of the vehicle was arrested and the vehicle was impounded.

 

Moving noise

A reporting party in the 5500 block of 104th Place Southwest advised of a tenant being loud while moving out. The movers were cooperative and agreed to be quieter.

 

Aug. 26

 

Motorcycle DUI

An officer and the Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of Ridge Street for a motorcycle collision. The officer determined the driver had been drinking. The driver was arrested and cited for driving under the influence.

 

Garage damage

An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of 5th Street for damage to a garage.

 

Reckless driving

A reporting party requested contact at Mukilteo Speedway and 3rd Street because he witnessed a recklessly driven vehicle. An officer located the driver and issued a warning.
