June 12


Apartment fire

Officers were dispatched to assist the fire department with the report of a commercial fire in the 12100 block of Greenhaven Lane. The apartment building’s structure was not damaged. The Snohomish County Fire Marshall is investigating the case.



No one was injured in a two-vehicle collision in the 10800 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.


Continuous horn

An officer was dispatched to a report of a horn continuously blowing in the 6200 block of Chennault Beach Drive. A vehicle had had an electrical malfunction. The owner disconnected the battery to silence the horn.


Raccoon intruder

A caller in the 8000 block of 52nd Avenue West reported that a raccoon entered her residence through a cat door and was now trapped inside. Officers assisted in getting the raccoon out of the residence.


June 13



A vehicle reportedly slid into the curb at Mukilteo Speedway and Harbour Pointe Boulevard. Officers contacted the driver. There was no property damage and the collision was non-reportable.



A person in the 4900 block of 95th Street Southwest reported being contacted regarding financial responsibilities in Texas, though they had no knowledge of a debt and had never lived in Texas.



Officers were dispatched to a theft in the 11700 block of Mukilteo Speedway. The case is under investigation.



June 14


Deer in headlights

An officer responded to a report of a deer at Mukilteo Speedway and Paine Field Boulevard. The deer was not located.


Elusive deer

A person at Mukilteo Speedway and Harbour Pointe Boulevard advised of a deer. The deer was not located.


Illegal dumping

A caller reported that someone uses his Dumpster without permission in the 13000 block of Beverly Park Road. He requested extra patrols in the area.


Traffic lights fail

A caller reported that traffic control lights were malfunctioning in the 2600 block of Mukilteo Speedway. Public Works was notified.



A person in the 1100 block of 3rd Street advised of a solicitor going door to door without a permit. Officers contacted the subject and advised him on the city’s municipal code regarding soliciting and the requirement that he obtain a permit. He agreed to stop until he obtained one.


Domestic violence

Officers responded to a disturbance between a male and female in the 10900 block of 59th Avenue West. The female assaulted the male during an argument and damaged his personal property. She was arrested for assault and malicious mischief. She was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.


June 15


Illegal burning

An officer investigated a report of illegal burning in the 600 block of Front Street, but found none.


Traffic complaint

Officers responded to a report of recklessly driven vehicle at 92nd Street Southwest and Mukilteo Speedway. The officers located the vehicle and did not observe any violations.


Illegal parking

An officer responded to a report of two illegally parked vehicles in the 11100 block of Chennault Beach Road. Upon the officer’s arrival, one vehicle was gone and the other vehicle was being towed.
