June 30

 

Scam call

A caller in the 10200 block of Harbour Place reported receiving an IRS scam phone call. He did not fall for the scam.

 

Loudspeaker

A reporting party advised of two subjects with a loudspeaker at the ferry terminal. There were no violations.

 

Hit-and-run

A caller reported her vehicle was struck while parked in the 10100 block of Mukilteo Speedway. The case is under investigation.

 

Property damage

A reporting party advised that a family member maliciously damaged property in the 4500 block of 88th Street Southwest. The family member was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

 

July 1

 

Vehicle prowl

An officer responded to a report of a vehicle prowl in the 4900 block of 94th Street Southwest.

 

Fireworks

A caller reported the use of fireworks in the 8100 block of Mukilteo Speedway. The fireworks were gone upon an officer’s arrival.

 

July 2

 

Loud music

A caller complained about loud music at 44th Avenue West and Woodson Crest Court. An officer contacted the resident, who agreed to turn the volume down.

 

Fireworks

A caller reported hearing fireworks in the 600 block of Washington Court. The fireworks were gone upon an officer’s arrival.

 

Warrant arrest

An officer conducted a traffic stop at Harbour Reach Road and Harbour Pointe Boulevard Southwest. The driver was arrested for a felony warrant and was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

 

Traffic hazard

A caller reported damage to a portion of the road in the 200 block of Park Avenue. An officer notified Public Works.

 

July 3

 

Traffic collision

An officer responded to a report of a hit-and-run vehicle collision in the 5500 block of 104th Place Southwest. The reporting party’s vehicle had been struck while parked at the location.

 

Injured duck

A caller had questions about an injured duck in the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard. An officer answered her questions.

 

Old appliances

An officer responded to a report of old appliances at 92nd Street Southwest and 49th Avenue West. The officer advised Public Works.

 

Vehicle prowl

A caller reported personal property had been stolen when his vehicle was prowled in the 3900 block of Harbour Pointe Southwest.

 

4th-degree DV

Officers responded to a report of a male assaulting a female in the 8900 block of Paine Field Boulevard. The male left the location prior to the officers’ arrival; he could not be located.

 

ID Theft

A caller in the 13400 block 45th Court reported someone opened several accounts in his name.

 

Fireworks

A reporting party advised of the use of fireworks in the 1000 block of 5th P1ace. The fireworks were gone upon an officer’s arrival.

 

Fireworks

A reporting party advised of the use of fireworks at 134th Place Southwest and Beverly Park Road. The fireworks were gone upon an officer’s arrival.

 

July 4

 

Broken down

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle with the door open in the 12800 block of Beverly Park Road. The officers found that the vehicle was disabled and the driver was working on getting it started. The vehicle was safely off the roadway.

 

Missing cat

An officer responded to a report of a missing cat in the 8800 block of 46th Place West.

 

Fireworks

Officers responded to 14 separate reports of fireworks being used at locations throughout Mukilteo. In each case, officers found no fireworks upon arrival on scene. Some reports may have been a result multiple firework displays occurring on Whidbey Island and in Everett at the time.

 

July 5

 

Vehicle theft

A caller reported her vehicle was stolen from the 13400 block of Harbour Heights Drive. It was entered as stolen.

 

Waiting on a tow

A caller reported a suspicious occupied vehicle in the 12800 block of Beverly Park Road. An officer contacted the subject, who was waiting for a tow truck.

 

Theft

A caller reported his license plate was stolen off of his vehicle in the 800 block of Mukilteo Speedway. The plate was entered as stolen.

 

Scam call

A caller in the 6100 block of 93rd Place West reported receiving a scam phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS. She did not give any personal information.

 

Warrant arrest

A caller reported a suspicious subject in the 11400 block of Mukilteo Speedway. An officer contacted the subject, who had a felony warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

 

Vehicle prowl

A reporting party advised his vehicle had been prowled in the 5100 block of 81st Place Southwest.

 

Fireworks

A caller reported hearing fireworks in the 5200 block of 104th Street Southwest. An officer responded to the location and no fireworks were heard.

 

July 6

 

Lost baseball gear

A caller reported her son lost baseball equipment in the 5400 block of 84th Street Southwest.

 

ID theft

A caller reported an unauthorized online purchase was made to her credit card in the 8100 block of 45th Avenue West.

 

Loose dog

An officer was dispatched to the 7800 block of Mukilteo Speedway for a dog running loose. The officer located the dog and transported it to PAWS.

 

July 7

 

Fax scam

A reporting party in the 10500 block of 47th Place West advised of receiving a suspicious call from a “collection agency” that requested he fax his personal information to them. The reporting party did not fax any information.

 

Stalled vehicle

A caller in the 800 block of Mukilteo Speedway reported her car would not start. The vehicle was blocking traffic. An officer provided a jump-start and got the car running.

 

Coyote sighting

A reporting party advised of coyotes in the 1200 block of Mukilteo Lane. The reporting party stated another subject scared the coyotes away while at the location.

 

July 8

 

Collision

A reporting party advised of a vehicle collision at 92nd Street Southwest and Mukilteo Speedway. The case is under investigation.

 

Theft

A reporting party advised of a theft in the 11700 block of Mukilteo Speedway. The case is under investigation.

 

Loud music

A reporting party advised of loud music in the 4400 block of 92nd Street Southwest. An officer contacted the resident and the music was turned off.
