May 19

 

Suspicious

Upon investigating a report of open mailboxes in the 4800 block of 80th Street Southwest, an officer was unable to determine if any mail was missing.

 

Cat trap

A person in the 5500 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard reported that a cat was stuck in the window blinds. An officer determined the cat was fine.

 

Stolen plate

A male in the 10600 block of 62nd Place West reported his license plate had been stolen.

 

Loose dog

An officer responded to a report of a dog at large in the 8400 block of Smugglers Cove Lane. The officer took the dog home and gave its owner a warning.

 

Collision

No one was injured in a two-vehicle collision in the 4900 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard Southwest.

 

Vehicle damage

A male in the 11100 block of Chennault Beach Road reported damage to his vehicle that may have been caused by mowing at the location.

 

Teens on tracks

BNSF Railway reported that a large group of teenagers had been on the train tracks at Lighthouse Park. Officers contacted multiple subjects at the location and warned them of the dangers of being on the train tracks.

 

Hit and run

A male in the 4300 block of Chennault Beach Road reported his vehicle was struck while parked. The incident is under investigation.

 

Bank breach

A female in the 12500 block of Hummingbird Lane reported that an out-of-state family member had unauthorized activity on her bank account. She was referred to the appropriate agency.

 

May 20

 

Soliciting

An officer contacted a male soliciting without a permit in the 4500 block of 78th Place Southwest. The officer told him to stop until he obtained a permit from the city.

 

Person found

Officers located a reportedly missing subject in the 600 block of Front Street and reunited that person with family members.

 

Limo traffic

After a caller reported excessive traffic in the 600 block of Front Street, an officer contacted a limousine driver who had stopped at the location. That driver agreed to move.

 

Warrant Arrest

Police determined a reportedly suspicious male at 10th Street and Loveland Avenue had a warrant for his arrest out of King County. He was arrested and turned over to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Vehicle fire

Mukilteo fire crews responded to a possible vehicle fire in the 900 block of 1st Street. They found that a motorist had added too much oil to his vehicle, causing it to smoke.

 

Juveniles drinking

Officers responded to the 3800 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard Southwest on a report of a juvenile consuming alcohol. Officers contacted several juveniles and called their parents to pick them up. Charges will be referred to the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office.

 

Fireworks

Officers responded to a report of fireworks in the 5000 block of Graham Way. The officers did not find any evidence of firework use, and no additional fireworks were seen or heard.

 

May 21

 

Suspicious vehicle

An officer contacted the driver of a reportedly suspicious vehicle in the 6700 block of Waterton Circle to find the driver was conducting a survey.

 

Death

Officers responded with the fire department to an unattended death of an elderly female in the 5800 block of 86th Place West. Nothing appeared to be suspicious.

 

Phone scam

A male in the 5600 block of 107th Place Southwest reported receiving a phone call from a family member who told him he was in jail in Brooklyn, New York and needed money to get out. The incident was a scam and is under investigation.

 

Domestic violence

Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 12500 block of Evergreen Drive. A male subject was assaulted by a female during an argument. She was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

 

Car seat quiz

An officer answered a person’s questions regarding car seat requirements in the 10500 block of 47th Place West.

 

Party foul

An officer responded to a reported of a loud party at a residence in the 900 block of 3rd Street. The resident agreed to quiet the party down.

 

Emergency beacon

An officer investigated a report of a boat apparently flashing an emergency beacon and other lights off of the 9800 block of Marine View Drive. The officer determined the boat was towing another boat, and the lights were likely being used to warn other boaters of the tow line. It did not appear anyone was in distress. The Coast Guard was also advised.

 

Bicycle burglary

A bicycle was reportedly stolen from a residence in the 4600 block of 73rd Street Southwest. The case is under investigation.

 

May 22

 

Loose dogs

An officer responded to a report of two off-leash dogs in the 600 block of Front Street. Upon arrival, the officer found no off-leash dogs.

 

Property recovery

Everett police reported that they recovered stolen property in the 10500 block of 47th Place West and booked it into evidence.

 

Lost bird

An officer took possession of a loose bird captured by the reporting party in the 10500 block 47th Place West. The officer is working on locating the owner.

 

Traffic collision

Officers responded to a collision between a car and a motorcycle at Mukilteo Boulevard and Scurlock Lane.

 

Solicitor

Officers contacted a male who was soliciting without a permit in the 2100 block of Clover Lane. He agreed to stop until he obtained a city permit.

 

House fire

Mukilteo fire crews responded to a house fire in the 13500 block of 42nd Avenue West, extinguishing the blaze quickly.

 

Disturbance

Officers responded to a male reportedly causing a disturbance in the 4900 block of 94th Street Southwest. The officers determined he was a solicitor without a permit and told him to obtain one before continuing.

 

Death

A female in the 1500 block of Goat Trail Loop Road reported her elderly family member was unconscious. She did not regain consciousness. A police Chaplain responded to assist the family.

 

Suspicious kids

Officers responded to a report of juveniles acting suspicious in the 5300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard. The juveniles agreed to keep the noise down.

 

Hit and run

A hit-and-run vehicle collision was reported in the 3800 block Harbour Pointe Boulevard Southwest.

 

May 23

 

Traffic collision

No one was injured in a two-vehicle collision in the 12700 block of Mukilteo Speedway.

 

Vehicle prowl

A male reported his vehicle had been prowled at Clover Court and Clover Lane.

 

Collision

Drivers exchanged insurance information after a two-vehicle collision in the 12700 block of Beverly Park Road.

 

Burglary

Personal property was reportedly stolen in a burglary in the 4500 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Traffic hazard

While on patrol, officers discovered a disabled vehicle blocking traffic in the 9500 block of Mukilteo Speedway. The officers helped move it out of the roadway.

An officer responded to a burglary in the 4500 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Graffiti

A caller reported graffiti at 44th Avenue West and 84th Street Southwest. The case is under investigation.

An officer responded to a burglary in the 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

 

Suspicious vehicle

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle along 53rd Place West at 88th Street Southwest. Upon arrival, the officers determined that it to be workers in a utility vehicle.

 

Online shopping

A person in the 3900 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard Southwest who was interested in buying a vehicle listed on an online shopping website provided the vehicle information to an officer prior to the purchase. The officer discovered the vehicle was stolen.
