Quilts worth a closer look

Some 30 quilts made by 16 members of the Mukilteo Lighthouse Quilters Guild are hanging on the walls of the Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., through Sept. 20.

The free exhibit showcases the varied artistic interests and talents of the guild’s members. It’s open 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sundays.

A free opening reception is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, July 13.
