Small condominium fire occurred Wednesday night

The following is a press release from the Mukilteo Fire Department regarding a fire at the Longwood Village Condominiums on 76th Street Southwest behind Olympic View Middle School:

 

Mukilteo Fire Department along with crews from Everett Fire, South County Fire, and Fire District 7 were dispatched at 7:15 p.m. this evening to a reported commercial fire in the 4800 block of 76th ST SW in Mukilteo.

Upon arrival, crews found smoke from the balcony and all occupants out of the condominium. The first arriving engine established an offensive fire attack immediately. A second alarm was called due to potential extension of the fire into the attic space. Two units received smoke and water damage due to the fire.

A Snohomish County Fire Investigator responded to the scene for origin and cause investigation. Support 7 and the American Red Cross are assisting those affected by the fire.
