The Timberwolves edged the Knights 88-82 in a Wesco 4A dual girls swim meet Sept 29 at West Coast Aquatics Center in Mill Creek.

Kamiak’s Song-Nhi Vo took first place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.39. Teammate Angeline Dovinh captured the 100 freestyle in 57.04.

The Knights’ 200 freestyle relay team of Vo, Elli Straume, Grace Hatscher and Dovinh won in 1:42.82 and the 400 freestyle relay team of Vo, Stina Seaberg, Dovinh and Straume finished first in 3:41.71. Both met the state time standard.

Kamiak’s Grace Hatscher finished second in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly and Seaberg was second in the 200 freestyle. Vo was second in the 100 backstroke and Straume placed second in the 100 breaststroke.
