In celebration of Zonta International’s founding in 1919, the Everett Club presents an annual award in recognition of service to Zonta and the community to a current or former member of the club.

The 2017 award was presented to Julie Martin.

Martin is the president and CEO of the Mukilteo Chamber.

She and her husband live in Everett; they have two adult children and a one-year old granddaughter. She enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, baking, gardening and reading.

Julie serves on the board of the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Association, the Mukilteo Police Foundation and works with Mukilteo Love (a group of Mukilteo community mom’s helping to provide support and needed essentials to local underserved families) and is an avid supporter of Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County.

In her role as CEO of the Chamber, Julie has the opportunity to mentor young women in the business community through internships, volunteer opportunities, educational opportunities and connecting them with local businesses.
